Mr. Arif has joined Pfizer Biotech facility as Engineering Validation Manager. The 230-acre site in Sanford, North Carolina, just south of the famed Research Triangle, is home to one of the largest U.S. biotechnology hubs.
The site is focused on inventing and producing the latest vaccine intermediates and drug substances, and Cell & Gene therapy drug substances and drug products. Pfizer manufactures Covid, Tittenus, and many other life-saving vaccines.
Cell & Gene therapy products are used for treating cancers, autoimmune diseases, urinary problems, and infectious diseases, rebuilding damaged cartilage in joints, repairing spinal cord injuries, improving a weakened immune system, and helping patients with neurological disorders.
